Ncaa Bracket Payout

  1. The College Football Playoff’s annual revenue distribution, typically in the $500 million range, could drop by 10% to 15% this season, according to executive director Bill Hancock.
  2. Each Round the Payout values increase, including the $2,000 Final Score Square and $500 Halftime Score Square for the Championship Game! If not all Squares are purchased, exact payouts will be determined when the Tournament starts. If a Winning Square is not owned by someone, its respective payout will only be added to the National Championship.

How to run a 100 Square Pool

What??? There's another March Madness Pool?
Most people think that the College Basketball Bracket is the only office pool you can run during the tournament. We like to think outside the box and come up with new creative pools to run, such as our College Basketall Tourney Props Pool and the March Madness Square pool you see above.

How does the Square Pool work?
The concept is the same as the Super Bowl Squares, in that you will be using the last digits of the two team's scores to find the person's name in the intersecting square. The difference being you will only be using the final score of the game, and every game in the tournament will have a winning square. If you want to run a little more advanced pool, try our College Basketball Block Pool where the numbers representing the team scores will change for each round.

Step 1
Print the square grid from above and take it around to family and friends having them write their name in the square or squares of their choice.

Step 2
Once all the squares are full it is time to set up the drawing. This can be done in many ways, listed below are 2 examples. After determining the drawing method, draw the numbers one at a time placing the numbers from left to right starting with the first gray square box in the top row, continue across the top row until the numbers are gone. After that is complete you will redraw the numbers, this time placing the drawn numbers in the gray square boxes in the left column, starting at the top.
Example 1: Write the numbers 0-9 on pieces of paper and place them in a hat.
Example 2: Get a deck of cards A through 10, the ace represents a one, the 10 represents a 0, 2-9 are face value.

Winning Squares
In Round 1 Illinois beats Florida by a score of 93 to 86. On the top row you will be looking at the last digit of the winning team's score, which is 3, down the left hand column you will be looking at the last digit of the losing team's score which is 6. Find where these two numbers intersect on the grid and the person's name in that square wins. You will do this for every game of the tournament. Most pools will weight the winning prizes by round. There will either be a total of 63 or 67 winners, based on whether you choose to use the play-in games or not.

Play-In - 4 Games(Optional)

Round 1 - 32 games

Round 2 - 16 games

Round 3 - 8 games

Round 4 - 4 games

Round 5 - 2 games

Round 6 - 1 game
